From the depths of the ocean comes Duindwaler. A solo project from the writer of Dutch black metal band Hellevaerder. Duindwaler (dune wanderer) delivers raw no-nonsense black metal and creates a misanthropic soundscape with a punch. A hypnotic poison wich fills the mind with anguish, terror and despair.
After the first demo ‘Landloper’ (2021) Daan decided to work towards a full length. Only to be invited to the great recieved 4-way split ‘Verloren Vertellingen’ (2023) with Duindwaler, his band Hellevaerder and Zwotte Kring friends Asgrauw and Schavot. A few months after that release Daan has written and recorderd his debut ‘In het Heemskerks duin’ (2024) in just six days. After some time Daan has finished writing something for a first release on vinyl, but more on that soon!
