Hologram Earth blends progressive metal with orchestral and atmospheric soundscapes. Formed in Amsterdam in 2010, the band has spent over a decade refining their sound, balancing a spirit of musical exploration and camaraderie.

Exploring personal themes through musical landscapes and lyrics, the music evolves as we move through life. Balancing strong riffs, deep grunts and orchestral brass, Hologram Earth celebrates all that the progressive metal sound has to offer. Not afraid to borrow from other genres, as long as it supports our core identity; following curiosity and expression.

From Personal Project to Full Band
What began as a personal project for founder Thomas Cochrane in 2010, quickly grew into a full band with a shared vision. Now, two singles, an EP and a full-length album later, Hologram Earth is ready to release their most ambitious work yet: City of Gold, available February 2, 2025.

The album blends groovy polyrhythms, ambient soundscapes, and metal infused with bold brass arrangements.
