Some things just take time to grow. A fact, none but an understatement for Dutch doom/death band Beyond Our Ruins.  The band – originally founded in 2005 – released their first full-length “A Dreadful Oath” in February 2017. Not surprisingly the shape of music they found most soothing turned out to be Doom Metal. Slow paced riffing, heartfelt keys, pulsing drum work, deep growls and eerie cleans vocals. For fans of My Dying Bride, Anathema, Opeth, Katatonia, Swallow the Sun.  The trademark of the genre – taking your time to let things breathe and evolve – accentuated even more so in their upcoming EP “On Death… And Dying”, set to be released 2020.
