Groovende, beukende metal waarin felle raps worden afgewisseld met melodieuze zang, geïnspireerd door occulte, maatschappelijke en filosofische thema’s.

Waar zware, laag gestemde gitaren en groovende bass om aandacht strijden met beukende drums en waar raps van Peggy afgewisseld worden met melodieuze zang van Tjalf. Waar een explosieve en sfeervolle metal mix, met ingrediënten die wellicht bekend zijn, toch een frisse eigen klank creëert.

In 2025 beleefde Counter Creation haar podiumdebuut in Utrecht en is daarna met twee gitaristen uitgebreid tot een zestal. Counter Creation staat nu garant voor nog meer beukvermogen, staat te trappelen om dit aan iedereen die wil te laten horen en staat klaar om binnenkort podium bij jou in de buurt op zijn kop te zetten.

DELAIN has started a thrilling new chapter and is ready to storm the globe again. After experiencing a lineup change in 2021, Martijn Westerholt (founder/main songwriter/keys) was rejoined by long-time members Ronald Landa (guitars) and Sander Zoer (drums). In early 2022, DELAIN was further strengthened by the addition of Diana Leah (vocals) and Ludovico Cioffi (bass) completing their dynamic lineup in time to record the band’s highly anticipated seventh studio album DARK WATERS which was released via Napalm Records on February 10, 2023.

DELAIN has seven studio albums and three EP’s to its name, including guest performances from the titans of the scene, among others: Sharon Den Adel (WITHIN TEMPTATION), Marko Hietala (NIGHTWISH) who is a returning guest on the new album DARK WATERS, and Alissa White-Gluz (ARCH ENEMY). Having toured the globe with bands like NIGHTWISH, SABATON and WITHIN TEMPTATION, and having rocked festivals like WACKEN, GRASPOP, and DOWNLOAD, DELAIN has strongly carved its niche within the scene as one of the original early generation bands in the genre. With its revitalized lineup, including the stunning and breathtaking vocals by Diana Leah, DELAIN is set to continue their legacy and forge new paths within the metal scene.

Waxing Crescent is a Ukrainian-Dutch progressive death metal band with a unique blend of heavy riffs, melancholic melodies and crushing technical rhythms. Based in the Netherlands, founded and led by Oleksii Spitsyn. With a long history of developing a diverse sound, the musical directions of the band expand beyond the death metal genre, delivering both brutal ragers and emotionally heavy ballads.

The band consists of Ukrainian vocalist and guitarist Oleksii Spitsyn, Curaçaoan bassist Fernandito Beaumont and Dutch drummer Tom Sewalt. Achter Empty Fix gaat een band schuil met leden die al ruim twintig jaar ervaring achter de kiezen hebben. Maar na tijden van grunts, snelle riffs en hardcore breaks was het nu tijd voor wat meer melodie, variatie en toetsen! Heavy maar uiterst catchy en met een knipoog naar het jaren ’90-geluid van Type O Negative, Life of Agony en Alice in Chains.

Asphyx is een Nederlandse death metalband, opgericht in 1987 in Oldenzaal, Overijssel, door drummer Bob Bagchus en gitarist Tony Brookhuis. De band staat bekend om hun unieke mix van death metal en doom metal, waarbij ze snelle, agressieve stukken combineren met langzame, zware riffs.

De oorspronkelijke bezetting bestond uit Bob Bagchus (drums), Tony Brookhuis (gitaar), en Joost (zang en bas), die later werd vervangen door Christian Colli. In de loop der jaren heeft de band verschillende bezettingswisselingen ondergaan. De huidige leden zijn:

· Martin van Drunen (zang)

· Paul Baayens (gitaar)

· Alwin Zuur (basgitaar)

· Stefan Hüskens (drums)

Asphyx bracht hun debuutalbum, The Rack, uit in 1991, wat hen meteen op de kaart zette in de death metal scene. Dit werd gevolgd door Last One on Earth in 1992, een album dat nog steeds wordt beschouwd als een klassieker in het genre. Na enkele jaren van pauzes en verschillende reünies, bracht de band in 2009 het album Death…The Brutal Way uit, wat hun terugkeer markeerde.

Sindsdien heeft Asphyx meerdere albums uitgebracht, waaronder Deathhammer (2021), Incoming Death (2016) en Necroceros (2021).

Sisters of Suffocation is een Nederlandse death metalband, opgericht in 2014 in Eindhoven. De band begon als een volledig vrouwelijke formatie en werd opgericht op de Metal Factory in Eindhoven. Door enkele wijzigingen in de bezetting is het geen volledige vrouwelijke formatie meer. Sisters of Suffocation combineert technische, old-school death metal met moderne invloeden.

De huidige leden zijn:

· Emmelie Herwegh (ritmegitaar)

· Tim Schellekens (basgitaar)

· Fons van Dijk (drums)

Sisters of Suffocation bracht hun eerste single, Boundaries, uit in april 2016. Hun debuut-EP, Brutal Queen, werd oorspronkelijk onafhankelijk uitgebracht in 2016 en later opnieuw uitgegeven door Hammerheart Records. Hun eerste volledige album, Anthology of Curiosities, werd uitgebracht in 2017. Andere albums zijn Humans Are Broken (2019) en Eradication (2022).

In verband met afwezigheid van Els, werd Els rond 2022 tijdelijk vervangen door Linn Liv, bekend van Cyanide Paradise, Pictura Poesis en Yakoeza. Linn Liv nam de zang over tijdens de live shows. Begin 2024 gaf leadgitarist en mede oprichtster Simone van Straten aan de band na tien jaar te verlaten.

De band heeft door de jaren heen op verschillende festivals opgetreden, waaronder Eindhoven Metal Meeting, Stonehenge Festival, Antwerp Metal Fest, Gäfle Metal Fest, Zwarte Cross en Lowlands.

Metalheads who like brutal death metal can indulge themselves with this 5-piece blast orchestra from the North of the Netherlands. No music for the faint of heart, but mercilessly brutal pounding.

Merciless guitar riffs in swirling patterns, many tempo changes from completely blasted to groovy and two vocalists who alternately give the songs an extra kick in the head with grunts and squeels.

These sick guys seem to mainly touch on matching themes about physical and mental discomfort, song titles such as ‘Blunt Force Intercourse’, ‘Devouring Connubial Flesh’ and ‘Decapitation Wound Fuck’ confirm this suspicion.

In 2011 the first EP ‘Methods Of Persuasion’ was released which already clearly indicated the musical direction that Braincasket had in mind.

This style was further elaborated on the debut album ‘Ratchet Of Perdition’, released in 2017 by the German record label ‘Morbid Generation’. Due to a back injury, drummer Martin Kloosterman was unfortunately unable to play the drum parts. At his request, Michiel vd Plicht (known from God Dethroned and is now the current drummer of Pestilence) took care of the drum parts.

The album was largely recorded in the ‘Soundlodge Studio’ (known for producing albums by Sinister, God Dethroned, and Defeated Sanity) in Germany, where the mixing and mastering was also done.

April 11, 2025 the new single ‘Split My Fist With Your Cunt’ will be released, in terms of intensity a logical sequel to ‘Ratchet of Perdition’ and again completely in the sick style that you can expect from Braincasket!
