Diagnosed in 2006/2007 with PDD-NOS (DSM-IV era), Krokus Autismus takes you through his mind of special interests, daydreams and daily thoughts through music. Greatly inspired by David Cronenberg and James Wan horror movies. And games like Amnesia: The Dark Descent and DOOM. Carefully crafting raw metal music built from ideas, and these inspirations going through my autistic head.

“Beugel Ellende” was pure self-mockery, not serious at all. A fun first step that was a good start. From “ANALOG HORROR” on, things got more seriously and interesting as “ANALOG HORROR” contains a storyline, more creativity and less “Just jam it away” mentality.

Krokus Autismus wants to stay more in that direction. To make creepy, unnerving ideas being worked into music. Krokus Autismus wants to show you that everyone who is on the spectrum, can be creative in their own ways. No matter what you love to do, what your special interests are or what your inspirations are. And I hope people will notice this and keep my message in the back of their head to start making creative stuff themselves.

Doodstil is opgericht in 2011 met 5 bandleden. Een zanger en zangeres, drummer, gitarist en bassist. Inmiddels is deze samenstelling teruggebracht naar 3 vaste bandleden en een sessie bassist.
