Von Mollestein has released a new album, ‘Order of the Fist’. While we prepare to listen to this monstrosity and write a review about it, you can check it out for yourselves through all streaming platforms.
Panoptikon, a groovy death/thrash band from Nijmegen, has been flying under the radar for a while. However they are still alive and kicking. Next weekend they will play Waalhella Nijmegen and for the occiasion they have created some new artwork. Check it out and let them know what you think!
While there are plenty of bands to look forward too, for Anchillys Headbangers Bash will be extra special, since this will be their first live gig with the new line-up. Looking forward to seeing it live!
This is bound to be a great festival anyways, with plenty of variety of the harder kind of metal <3
As it happens often with bands, members come and members go. Sadly the drummer of Cannibalistic Sqvirrel has to leave, to spend more time with his other band Rotzorg. There aren’t enough metaldrummers (I know from experience) so fingers crossed these guys will find a replacement drummer soon <3
Anchillys was previously a solo project. We were very excited about their first album (check the review here), partly because it was all one man. Luckily for us, now it’s a full band. Lucky for us, because that means they can play a live set now (which would have been difficult with Andy doin all the instruments.) The current line-up is:
– Tamás Csiszár – guitars
– Roman Gitis – guitars
– Ben de Graaff – vocals
– Mitchell Velthuizen – bass
– Andy Wit – drums (might be a familiar face )
Having signed with REXIUS RECORDS in January this year, the Unslain is giving us sneak peeks of what is to come with a new album. In January they release their track In Hell (I am). Now the band is back with ‘Into the Unknown’. Check it out below or check the bands facebook page.
This weekend is the Metal Battle Preliminary in Friesland. Atmoran, Bildstar, Drovich and Stoflik Omskot are going to battle it out for a chance to play the semi finals.
