Bleeding Gods was formed in 2012 after founder Ramon Ploeg left Dutch death metalband Houwitser.

It all began with a 4-track never released demo entitled ‘Demo 2013’. With the demo, the band signed a record deal with the Italian Punishment 18 Records and released their debut album ‘Shepherd of Souls’ in 2015.

After some lineup changes, the band recorded a new promo in 2016 and used some orchestration for the first time with help from good friend of the band Martin Powell (Cradle of Filth 2000 – 2005).

Later that year the band was added on the bills of several wellknown festivals like Eindhoven Metal Meeting, Antwerp Metalfest and others and performed their new material for the first time live. With fully packed venues and marquees, the band was called ‘surprise of the weekend’ more than once. Shortly after that, the band received a lot of positive attention with interviews and live reviews from the international press.

Early 2017 the latest album ‘Dodekathlon’ was born. One hour of devastating epic blackened death metal which tells the complete ancient Greek story of the Twelve Labours of Hercules.The band spent almost 2 years on writing, composing and recording the album and received a lot of positive reviews from the international music press. The album even received ‘album of the month’ and ‘album of the year’ several times.

Bleeding Gods signed a wordwide deal with Nuclear Blast Records and the album was released in January 2018.

With the new album, the band toured Japan, Europe, UK, Russia and Scandinavia with other artists like Belphegor, Pestilence, The Crown and Melechesh. Besides tours, the band headlined the New Force Stage at Metal Days, and performed at other sold out festivals like Czech Deathfest, Viborg Metalfest, Metal Experience Fest and others.

Dodekathlon was released January 12th, 2018.

When Petra Honing (vocals) and Sebas Honing (guitars, vocals) left their band Galanor in 2009 Petra wanted to resurrect some songs she wrote with George van Olffen (keyboards) back in 2004 with Stolen Dream. When Galanor called it quits in 2011 Joost (Maglev, bass) joined and soon after Johan van den Berg (drums) also joined. This is where the bandname Equisa is born, inspired by the idea of implementing Petra’s horse into the artwork. It would take 9 years until that actually happened. In November 2011 they record the EP ‘Straight Lines’ featuring 3 ex-Stolen Dream songs. Soon after Johan quits and Raymond Otterspeer (drums) is recruited. In early 2012 Equisa decides to continue as a four-piece without George. This is the line-up behind their debut album ‘Strange Release’, released in September 2013. This established quite an underground fanbase and the album is very well received with some reviewers even citing it as the best release of 2013.

Raymond quits in November 2015 and only 5 days later Stefan Maas (drums, percussion) fills in at a gig and joins as a permanent member. After Koen Stam (keyboards, synthesizers) temporarily joins to form Sebas’ band for his release party in 2016 Koen also joins a full member, making them a 5-piece once again. In November they release the single ‘Great Minds’.

In August of 2019, during the final stages of recording their follow-up, 80’s Now (an 80’s coverband featuring Petra, Sebas and Stefan) recruits Joshua Smits on bass and soon after he also joins Equisa as a second guitar player. Their latest EP ‘Be’ is released on July 17th, 2020.

A short tale about Brutality;

Twisted horror-themed lyrics, sickening guitarriffs, combined with D-beat- and blastbeat-drumrythms…….

Since Icons of Brutality started out in 2009, the band always has been known for putting all these elements into an intense exposure of crust-‘n grind-flavored oldschool deathmetal.

The Chapel of Madness released their debutalbum “Between Glory and Despair” in 2013 which was received quite well by both fans and press. Of course the band felt the need to prove themselves in front of many audiences and thus I. O. B. went out on stage as much as they could playing with great bands such as Exhumed, God Dethroned, The Agonist, Grave and many more.

After a roaring start the Deathmetal machine came face to face with turmoil. Founding member Jeroen decided to leave the band and was replaced by Bas Karman. After this switch the band kept going in relative silence. So much silence that many thought that Icons of Brutality was dead and buried.

But this was never the case, I. O. B. marched on. Creating new music as a group as all five members contribute to the process of writing new material.

Their latest album “Doctrines of Deceit” (2019) was recorded and mastered by Fredde at the Dirty-Bird-studio. Providing the album with a ultraheavy guitarsound, the band sounds like a diesel-driven monstertruck, fully ready to crush everything in its path. “Doctrines…” consists of 7 brandnew OSDM-tracks that reveals the most brutal face of Icons of Brutality. On this album the band reached a next level in their own uncompromising style and surely will tear your soul apart. ONKT is een 5 koppige band uit de omgeving van Alkmaar die Djent speelt. ONKT is ontstaan in 2006.

De muziekstijl wijkt af van wat men doorgaans als “Metal” beschouwd door de polyritmische opbouw van hun muziek. Door gebruik te maken van beduidend laag gestemde gitaren, verschillende lagen in ritmiek en gebruik van samples zorgen ze voor een lekkere headbangende groove terwijl de muziek je toch laat anticiperen naar de volgende moeilijk harde breakdown.

Sinds 2006 is ONKT gegroeid van een idee in de studio tot een internationaal toerende band. In 2017 heeft ONKT gespeeld met bands als Creative Waste (Saudi Arabia), Scordatura (U.K.), Foetal Juice (U.K.) en Desolation (Serbia) Deze laatste band speelde support voor ONKT tijdens hun Balkan zomertoer van 2017.

Vanaf 2009 heeft ONKT 3 albums en 2 officiële videoclips uitgebracht. EQUILIBRIUM is het nieuwste album waaraan het groeiende publiek kan ervaren hoe deze band is getransformeerd van een band naar deze machine die ONKT heet. ONKT is a Alkmaar based 5 piece formation that plays Djent. ONKT formed in 2006
Their music transcends “Metal” due to the polyrhythmic build up of their music. With the use of profound low tuned guitars and layering of different rhythm and use of samples they manage to keep a nice head banging groove while their music keeps you anticipating the next brutal breakdown.

Since 2006 ONKT has grown from an idea in the studio to what is now an international touring band. In 2017 ONKT played with bands like Creative Waste (Saudi Arabia), Scordatura (U.K.), Foetal Juice (U.K.) and Desolation (Serbia) the last band being the guys who supported ONKT in their Balkan Summer tour of 2017.

Since 2009 ONKT released 3 albums and 2 official video clips. EQUILIBRIUM is the last album to date and lets the growing audience experience the transformation from a band to this machine called ONKT. Met een stevige basis van Thrash/ Death metal, een sausje van groovende lompe riffs en Scandinavische melodieuze invloeden weet deze vijf-mans formatie een stevige sound neer te zetten. Opgericht in 2008 maar na meerdere bezettingswisselingen nu in vorm als nooit tevoren.

Met de eerste release, Rise Again, al in 2009 zag de tweede release, Life Denied, het daglicht in 2014. Op 31 oktober 2021, ondanks de wereld pandemie COVID19, bracht Dead Man’s Walk de full length Below uit.

Geïnspireerd door alles wat in de jaren ’90 groot was, klinkt de band toch modern en weet Dead Man’s Walk steeds dat stuk vernieuwing te vinden zodat het zeker niet gedateerd klinkt. Op het podium geven zij een stevige en energieke show weg. Veel haar en een no-nonsense uitstraling maken het een serieuze band om naar te kijken en nog beter om op te Thrashen! In 2015 stond Dead Man’s Walk al in de finale van de Metal Battle Nederland en ook was Dead Man’s Walk finalist tijdens de Wacken Metal Battle. Dead Man’s Walk heeft sindsdien alle uithoeken van Nederland gezien en over de grens naar Duitsland en België zijn ze ook aan de weg aan het timmeren. Dead Man’s Walk heeft het podium gedeeld met grootheden als Aborted, I Am Morbid, Kataklysm, Beheaded, Altar, Birdflesh en vele anderen. Ondertussen worden steeds meer optredens aan Dead Man’s Walk’s ervaring toegevoegd, zoals onder ander Stonehenge en Occultfest. Nu langzaamaan de zalen en podia in Nederland en daarbuiten door de pandemie weer hun deuren voorzichtig openen, is Dead Man’s Walk weer helemaal klaar om het album Below live te gaan promoten!

Blackstroke is a Dutch alternative metal band. Inspired by multiple music genres, Blackstroke’s music distinguishes itself by a unique combination of styles. The songs vary from heavy choruses to parts where melody and clean vocals are the main focus. Striking are the ‘mellow’ basslines which provide a strong base for the songs. Evidently the drums should not be overlooked, they complete the songs with energising rhythms and tight double bass patterns!
